It all began with Grandma June Smith, experimenting in her kitchen in Lumby, BC. She created a unique bread recipe using sprouted grains, which are more nutritious and easier to digest. Her focus was always on health and well-being, and that passion grew into Silver Hills Bakery, a company dedicated to wholesome, nourishing breads enjoyed across the country.

From this legacy, The Sprouted Oven was born: a space that carries Grandma Smith’s values into the modern plant-based lifestyle. Everything we make, from our freshly baked goods to kitchen meals to grocery products we source, is 100% plant-based and non-GMO. We craft everything with care, using sprouted grains (just like Grandma), high-quality ingredients, superfoods, and organic provisions where it counts. Our grocery shelves are thoughtfully curated with products that align with our values, so you can shop and eat with confidence.
